VA just sent me an email that they don't like my
political tone.
I am a conservative. update

The VA does not like my political tone, and they put that in writing
to me on 07/09/2021. And now they refuse to fill a prescription
for a service-connected disability (prescription is for a heavy-duty
knee brace).
All because I wore an “All Lives Matter” t-shirt and also
carried a red MAGA hat for two appointments in Sebring FL
earlier this year. (I had the hat on my head but whenever I enter a
building I take off my hat). (( read the message in the screen
shot below )).
Please share this message, please call the VA, please spread this
hateful treatment.
This all started under the Biden administration, as we all
know Biden and all the democraps hate conservatives, family values,
military, veterans and law enforcement. Well I hate Democrats right
back, but what the VA is doing is wrong.
The VA
sent me a message that they don’t like my “political tone”
and I am a conservative.
When I wore those two items for two my last 3 appointments
(appointment for tetanus booster or shingles dose 1 & done 2) they
made snide remarks behind the Plexiglas about me (all lives
matter t-shirt and MAGA hat).
I received a prescription for a heavy-duty knee
brace on 04/28/2021 but they still haven’t filled that prescription
as today 07/21/2021. But I found out why, on 07/09/2021 the VA put
in writing that they don’t like my political tone. This is all
because earlier this year I wore an “All Lives Matter” t-shirt and
carried my MAGA hat in my hands for two of my Sebring FL
appointments.
Appointments for 3 vaccine shots (one tetanus
booster and shingles part 1 and part 2) at the Sebring FL clinic and
also a routine physical. Two of those appointments I carried my
MAGA hat in my hands but I wore an All Lives Matter t-shirt into my
vaccine shot appointments earlier this year.
But ever since then VA won't fill a prescription
from a Community Care external (non-VA) orthopedic surgeon ever
since I wore my MAGA hat and All Lives Matter t-shirt into my
vaccine shot appointments earlier this year.
My bad knee stops me from enjoying life including simple things like
walking to the mailbox or going to a theme park.
DETAILS: DETAILS: DETAILS: DETAILS: DETAILS:
I have a Military Service (Air Force) Connected disability – left
knee injury where I was hospitalized for 6 nights while on active
duty. Now in 2021 my knee started hurting again – a lot. I was
sent to a non-VA surgeon using the VA’s Community Care Program.
I was sent to this Community Care non-VA surgeon on 04/28/2021 and
that doctor gave me a written prescription for a heavy-duty knee
brace – to use until I get my knee replaced. But the VA won't fill
that knee brace prescription. They owe it to me. Service-connected
disability - not my fault.
I have an Air Force Service-Connected disability. While on duty in
the US Air Force my left knee was injured so severe, I spent 6
nights in the hospital. Years later part of my knee was removed in
a surgery due to that injury.
My knee is hurting badly again in 2021. The doctors took x-rays
twice in 2021 and recommend my knee be replaced but in the mean time
I should get a heavy-duty metal knee brace. But the VA won’t fill
that prescription from a non-VA Doctor they sent me to via the VA’s
community care program.
Community care surgeon/doctor took X-rays and he also prescribed a
heavy-duty metal knee brace and I might need to get a knee
replacement in the future. But for now, he wants me to wear the
heavy-duty metal knee brace and he gave me a written prescription.
I immediately drove and also hand delivered that written
prescription to the Sebring Florida VA clinic within 15 minutes of
getting the prescription also on 04/28/2021.
But the VA won’t fill the prescription that they received on
04/28/2021 - they refuse and keep making up excuses.
They owe it to me. Service-connected disability - not my fault. I
believe it has to do with my conservative beliefs as they mentioned
in an email from 07/13/2021 email via the VA’s secure messaging to
me that they don’t like my political tone.

Community Care Provider. (non-VA) seen 04/28/2021
and given a written prescription for a left knee brace
These guys did their job, but the xxxing VA won’t
because they don’t like conservatives like myself.

Sebring, FL 33870-8226

Maybe this is the problem of not getting the prescription from
04/28/2021.
Two VA people said a form is NOT needed and two VA people said a
form is needed to be filled out by the Non-VA community care
provider - a specific form from the prosthetics department. And I
was given multiple fax numbers. And I was also told one fax number
only accepts incoming paper faxes and the other only accepts
incoming electronic faxes. The fax needs to go to VA community care
department.
Item 1)
Non-VA hospital community care provider is Florida Joint & Spine
Institute, PA, Dr. Reddy appears that they never received a form
from the VA prosthetics department.
Question: How can I get a copy of that form that Florida Joint
& Spine Institute, PA, Dr. Reddy needs to fax to the VA community
care department?
But the NON-VA doctor doesn’t have a form to fill out. Please send
me that form.
Form is called: RFS10-10172.
I want to hand deliver that form to the Florida Joint & Spine
Institute, PA, Dr. Reddy because it appears that they never received
a form to fill out. Please send me that form via secure messaging
so I may print it out. Or you print it out at the Sebring VA clinic
and I can come in and pick it up to hand deliver to the non-VA
community care doctor’s office.
Item 2)
Question: The Non-VA hospital only has a paper fax machine.
Which is the correct fax number that non-VA doctor needs to fax a
PAPER form to? I have been given two (2) fax numbers to fax it
to.
There were multiple fax numbers given. This is for the NON-VA
doctor Florida Joint & Spine Institute, PA, Dr. Reddy to fax the
prescription to the VA. Which is the correct number?
727-398-3259 or
727-299-6780 Attn: Team 10?
On 08/03/2021 Bay Pines Prosthetics Extension: 15545 told me that
said they never received an order from Community Care. VA
Community Care says they never received the fax from Florida Joint &
Spine Institute, PA but it was faxed on 07/22/2021. I saw the fax
confirmation that it was faxed. They faxed it to:
727-398-3259
Office of community care at new number:
877-881-7618,
old 727-398-3252. So why are you saying you never received it?
But another person Magdalena Rivera Lopez RN MSN Assistant Nurse
Manager said there is a form that must be completed by the community
provider and faxed back to (727) 299-6780 Attn: Team 10...then
nurses on team 10 put in the consult (this is an electronic fax
only, no paper faxes will work). But this is a different fax
number than I was told. Which is the correct number.
