Recognized Event Field Names

When the program displays an event the format of that display is determined by an Event Display String. As explained on the above referenced help page an Event Display String consists of clear text and tokens. This page details the tokens that you may use in an Event Display String.

Please see the notes at the bottom of this page for more information

  • To use these fields in the eventedit.dat file to build Event Display Strings you must surround the token (i.e. the field name) with squiggle brackets: '{' and '}'. Also the token and any clear text must be surrounded with square brackets: '[' and ']'. Please read the help page carefully for more information.

  • If a field is hidden (by making its prompt empty on the Customize Event Database screen) then including it in an Event Display String will have no effect.

  • These fields may be different from the fields you use in the first row of an import file. Please see this help file for more information on importing events.
