Description of Administration Screen
This screen provides access to large number of optional settings. You may
customize the event databases, customize particular calendars and make other
system wide settings for this software.
Note: Only ADMIN or SUPER users may
access this screen.
The administrative functions are grouped into three sections:
Data Functions
The Data Functions includes the Event
Manager which is further described in the help file. The Event Manager allows you
to import, export and customize the event database.
Data Functions apply only to the current calendar.
Calendar Functions
Calendar Functions include the Calendar Manager and
the Template Manager. The Calendar Manager allows
you to add, edit, merge and delete calendars. The Template Manager allows you to
change or reset the current calendar's template.
Calendar Functions apply only to the current calendar.
System Wide Functions
Note: Only the SUPER user may access
these functions.
The User Manager allows you to add, edit and delete
users to the system.
The User Group Manager allows you to add, edit
and delete user groups.
The Login Settings screen allows you modify
options related to user login including integrating the software with your
operating system's user identification system.
The Date Display Settings screen allows you
to modify the way dates are displayed on all calendars.
The Email Settings screen allows you to
specify the behavior of the program when certain items (those with
non-empty notification lists) are modified.
The Submission Filters screen allows you to control and
monitor end user submissions. For example you may wish to disallow
certain 'undesirable' words to be submitted.
Finally, the registration and installation managers allows you to
register the software and manage your
licenses and display information about the
installation of the software. |
